On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Trade Union of Ocean Ship Management and Maritime Services Joint Stock Company organized a series of special events to celebrate the Year of the Snake (At Ty 2025). One of the highlights was the Company\u2019s football tournament, held on January 11, 2025, at Lach Tray Stadium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This tournament not only created a vibrant and exciting atmosphere but also provided an opportunity for all employees, officers, and crew members to come closer together, thereby strengthening unity and solidarity under the shared home of Ocean Shipping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The football tournament featured three teams: the Container Vessel Crew Team, the Bulk\/General Cargo Vessel Crew Team, and the Office Staff Team. The players were mainly standby seafarers from various provinces who returned to participate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This friendly tournament was not about intense competition like major leagues, but rather focused on\u4ea4\u6d41, sharing, and creating a joyful and united atmosphere among participants. Nevertheless, the players demonstrated strong determination, playing wholeheartedly with impressive skills, exciting matches, and memorable moments. The supporters also cheered enthusiastically, contributing to a lively and energetic atmosphere throughout the games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tournament was played in a single round-robin format under 5-a-side rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the end, the Office Staff Team, with players who had been playing together for many years and were more familiar with the pitch, won the championship. The Bulk\/General Cargo Vessel Crew Team, despite having a strong, young, and well-balanced squad\u2014considered the strongest in the tournament\u2014finished as runner-up due to limited time playing together and unfamiliarity with the field (losing to the Office Team on goal difference). The Container Vessel Crew Team placed third, despite their great efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Immediately after the successful conclusion of the tournament, the Company\u2019s Leadership, together with representatives of the Shipowners and the Company\u2019s Trade Union Executive Committee, presented awards to the teams and attended the closing ceremony and celebration party of the Ocean Shipping Football Tournament with all participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conclusion of the \u201cOcean Shipping Internal Football Tournament \u2013 Spring 2025\u201d not only left memorable moments on the field and beautiful memories for all participants, but also provided an opportunity for employees, officers, and crew members to build friendships and strengthen collegial bonds. It reflected a spirit of unity, as everyone joined hands in wishing for a peaceful and successful New Year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
