On June 27, 2025, in a warm, friendly, and united atmosphere, Ocean Ship Management and Maritime Services Joint Stock Company, in coordination with the Trade Union, organized the Q2/2025 Seafarers Meeting & Exchange.

The event is held quarterly with the following objectives:

• To create a space for listening to and sharing practical experiences in work and daily life among Officers and Crew Members.
• To acknowledge valuable feedback and suggestions aimed at improving management quality and enhancing employee welfare.
• To honor outstanding seafarers who demonstrate strong responsibility, technical initiatives, and active support for their colleagues.

Within the program, the Company and the Trade Union presented awards to five outstanding seafarers of Q2. These individuals were nominated from various vessels for their excellent professional performance, strong discipline, teamwork spirit, and meaningful contributions to the efficient operation of the vessels.

Each award represents the Company’s sincere recognition of the quiet yet valuable contributions made at sea.

Representing the five honored seafarers, Captain Bui Van Chien

“I am honored to receive the Outstanding Seafarer title for Q2/2025. It is truly a source of pride and a meaningful milestone for me personally. Working onboard is not easy—the weather can be harsh, and we are often far from home and loved ones. However, it is the spirit of unity and mutual support among crew members that motivates me to fulfill my duties. Today’s achievement is the result of teamwork, responsibility, and close coordination in every watch and every voyage. In the time ahead, I will continue striving, learning, and upholding a strong sense of responsibility, together with my colleagues, to build a safer, more efficient, and more supportive working environment.”

At the ceremony, Mrs. Phan Thi Nga – Chairwoman of the Trade Union – delivered a speech summarizing trade union activities in the first six months of the year, emphasizing the role of standing alongside employees not only in material aspects but also in spiritual well-being, culture, and internal connectivity.

On this occasion, the Vice Chairperson of the Trade Union officially launched the Q3/2025 emulation campaign with the motto:

“Safety – Efficiency – Unity – Steady Steps to the Sea”

He campaign will serve as a driving force for all crew members to maintain a proactive and safety-oriented working spirit, jointly contributing to the success of each vessel, while also enhancing the pride of the seafaring profession and promoting the sustainable development of the Ocean Shipping brand.

The Q2 Seafarers Gathering was not only an opportunity to meet and connect but also an important bridge between the Company’s Leadership, the Trade Union, and employees, contributing to building a sustainable and people-centered corporate culture.

The Company will continue to maintain and promote the positive values of this activity in the coming quarters.
